The Australian Terrier is adaptable, spirited and for a terrier,
obedient. He is good with children and generally gets along
with other dogs, but he is wary of strangers. He responds
well to obedience training and he is eager to please. Like
other terriers, he likes to dig.
Physical Features and Grooming
Australian Terriers are small, about 10 inches tall and weighing
12-18 pounds. He has a short, wiry coat. Dead hairs need to
be stripped twice a year. He is usually silver-black or blue-black.
Health Issues
Australian Terriers are prone to no major health problems.
