The American Water Spaniel is a friendly, outgoing dog that
enjoys swimming and fetching. He is eager to please but sensitive,
so obedience training
should be calm and consistent. While he is eager to please,
he may snap if disciplined harshly. He usually acts positively
around strangers and he is good with children that are older
and well-behaved. Some are prone to drooling, and some are
barkers.

pounds. He has a liver or chocolate colored wavy or curly
